Injection Mold Materials
Most trays are polypropylene because it offers good durability at an economical price. Some applications require more specially engineered plastic resins. For instance, trays utilized in robotic handling applications or wash cycles may require other materials. Also, parts with sharp areas may require a more cut resistant material in order to eliminate plastic shaving contamination. We have an outstanding knowledge of thermoplastic materials and many times will bring in material suppliers for their input on new projects. We always welcome the opportunity to try something new.
